Saifee expedition, October 1999
One of the rare shots of the Saifee peak. The first assault was a failure
with the group running into a snow storm and
having to retreat while some 200 feet below the summit. We had climbed
the slope after the crevasses halfway before
having to retrace our path. The next day Andy, Balu, Govind and Rana
bhai made another successful assault on the
peak.
