Deobasa is called so becuase of a huge population of Deodaar (Pine) trees.
Similarly Cheerbasa has a glade of Cheer trees (called Birch in English
if I'm not wrong). Having been deserted by it's leaves this lone Deodaar
tree wages a lone battle against nature.
