Saifee expedition, October 1999

Rana bhai gives instructions while Andy, Sameet and Pooran Singh climb the ice fall

The ice fall was similar to the rock falls we had climbed earlier in the sense that it was a very steep climb (and the air here was thinner than we had ever encountered before) and the rocks were loose. To make matters worse, some portions of the ground were wet and soft, and one had to absolutely never stop there. To the right of the fall was a very surrealistic ice wall that really looked like a huge rock from a distance.
